“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it on the waters”.
Psalm 24

God has provided each one of His children with special gifts that allow us to be in service to others and to Him. Some of us use these gifts to serve others in our daily lives through our different professions, also as mothers and fathers. What does God expect from us? God wants first and foremost a relationship with us. He gives to us and is most pleased when we give back to Him through His Body, the Church.

Stewardship is about giving back to God of our time, talent and treasure. One of the most important gifts to God is our time. Why? Because time once used, can never be reclaimed! However our talents and treasure can be reclaimed and restored.

There is still much to do. We welcome your input both as an encourager and an active participant in the life of St. Stephen’s. Please prayerfully consider  how best you can serve the Lord.

“But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins worth only a fraction of a penny”… …Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything, all she had to live on”.
 Mark 12:42-44
